Chris Cornell, I love you but why the Rage cover? What do you think about Audioslave covering a Rage song?

I know the Audioslave band members were in Rage Against the Machine...but Chris wasn't. Didn't the band hear him at practice and go...meh I don't think so?

Malformed video ID, but I know what video your talking about. I think it was bad because it was live, if this was recorded in a studio, it would have been much better. Though I think Cornell should have left it to De La Rocha. Still, he's my favorite singer of all time.

That's sort of odd, when I was looking at my CD colection today, I was thinking about how much I love Soundgarden, Rage being pretty good, and Audioslave being... not that bad, but not really amazing. Audioslave just didn't work out as well as everyone expected
