Where should I sell my car?

Its a 1998 Mitsubishi Galant ES. It has about 150,000 miles on it and it was in a recent accident. The radiator is smashed with one of the headlights and the check engine light is on. BUT the car still runs and i believe the engine itself is not damaged.

Should I sell it to a scrap/junk yard or would it be worth more if i tried selling it to an auto shop that might want it to fix up. To make a long story shot i need some quick cash so what option would be the most profitable?

Thanks a ton!

Craiglist is probably your best option since it is free to post the ad. I used www.autotrader.com to sell my vehicle but they charge anywhere from $40 and above depending on the package you select. You can also drive around to various used lots and see if anyone is interested. Some auto body shops may be a good idea to visit. They may be able to fix it and sell it for a profit. Junk Yard should be your very last resort as you'll get maximum of $50

Try your local Craigslist first - it's free and lots of people are looking for bargains.
