Out of Hay! What can my piggers munch on for now?
I ran out of hay yesterday...I have money for more, but the roads are icy, and my parents don't have gas money..so my poor guinea pigs will be out until next Monday!! The ground is covered by about a foot of snow so I can't use grass or anything....it wouldn't be SO bad, but one of my pigs seriously misbehaves when she doesn't have hay to munch on..and they don't have any wooden hidey houses..or anything made out wood in their cage..Is there something that would be laying around the 'average bears' house my piggies could chew on to wear their teeth down for the time being?
Thanks :)
they're not really fans of the 'empty toilet paper roll'...tried it... :/ picky pigs....Thanks for the ideas...I've been giving them one baby carrot a day (one each cause they're high in sugar..) we're really low on pretty much everything in the house....there isn't a lot of food or anything, either... :(

Let them gnaw on a stick, if you can find one...

Apples, carrots, lettuce, potato peels, strawberries, raspberries....
you could also put in a toilet paper roll for them to chew on.
