YA what is the proper way to phrase or format a question in poetry?

In Yahoo! Answers you must phrase questions in question format, and your answer must attempt to answer the question. Questions or answers must be written in a comprehensible way, and must be written in the language specific to the Answers site to which it is uploaded. You may not post conversational content without an attempt to post a meaningful question or answer a question or otherwise misuse the question and answer format.

Questions in Poetry are not to be POEMS, they are to be questions.

To be on the safe side avoid words like:

I think, what do you think, how do you feel, what should I feel...

Also do not refer to people, places or things as this may be construed as ranting.

Do not refer to Yahoo, the rooms, any particular subject (other than poetry) as this is commentary and you are not to use Yahoo to comment on Yahoo.

Humor is not allowed, and you cannot use the fact that you didn't know Catch-22 was a comedy to defend accidental humor. If you keep it under 30 words and avoid adjectives you can probably screen this out.

So if you avoid Poetry, Nouns, most Verbs, and all Adjectives you MIGHT be alright, although there are no guidelines preventing people with "trash accounts" from Spam Violating you (a dear fellow in here said he has had 50+ of them,) since there are no real repercussions to there "legit" accounts.

So in other words THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A VALID QUESTION.

Don't even let me get started on ANSWERS.

I don't think there is a correct way of phrasing a question. In the couple of weeks leading up to Christmas, it didn't matter how I phrased the question, about 8 on the trot were removed. I am now using - This is a poem - how may it be improved, but I don't think it will be long before that suffers the same result. I just keep posting and re-posting and keep my fingers crossed. I refuse to be silenced

  • Now ... honestly I do not know

however what Giggles said has got me violated for chatting, I take my chances anyway.

as to the reporters the violations always escalate when school is not in session, There is no reason for any one person to report your question other than they take exception to it. The idea that one of our peers is picking on us is very detrimental to growing and working together,

I wish we could quit pointing fingers as it does not resolve the issue

lead us into your poem with a question.

How does your morning go without your morning coffee? comments/critiques

I got up in a hurry

no time to made the brew

and so off I went into my day

    without my fix it seems

    no sooner than I arrived

    someone must have known

for a mug of steaming coffee

was handed to me at once

I smiled a thank you kindly

    and asked, "how'd you know?"

"look in the mirror and you will see"

    the reply came to me

I was still wearing my fuzzy slippers...

    No one really knows ,

Asking anything here amounts to playing an incomprehensible kind of Russian Roulette.

Just keep posting. On good days you will not get reported.

"Can someone render poetry assistance for me?"

This question then opens the door for you to ask about how well a poem works, for interpretation or how to find a poem that has eluded your searching
