Which is more fun, Christmas parties or New Year's Eve parties?

I like Christmas parties better because you can sing Christmas carols, celebrate Jesus's birthday, eat pie and turkey, ect. It is more of a family/close friends time. New Year's parties are crazy! I usually have cousins over and we watch fireworks and TV until we fall asleep.The parents and other family have their own parties with fireworks and stuff like that. they are both fun, but i like Christmas a little better!

I think New Years Eve parties are more fun because you can watch people get drunk and just act very silly. That can be entertainment in itself. It livens the party. I have always enjoyed talking to people at the New Years parties and watching the fireworks is a nice beginning to the New Year.

Christmas parties-- better food and music. NYE-- potential problems with ppl kissing each other. What I always found weird were these parties where couples pay $100/person and up just to celebrate w/ a bunch of strangers (usually obese guys with plaid sportcoats). Even worse are the paid parties with groups of single guys with no dates. Excuse me, but I do not want a bunch of strange guys hitting on my woman.

Christmas parties for sure. But then I'm not a big drinker. And I have 3 little kids (so where am I going on New Year's Eve??).

new years eve parties are definitely more fun because people are more excited and wilder :) and more silly i guess because more people get drunk.
