First I'd like to say one thing, Please.

Unsilenced Lamb. I read where you said you were stuck in the truth for 22 and some odd years. I've had others also say you said the same thing. You were DF and then became angry. Now which is it? You were not a JW or you were? please, if you're going to lie keep them straight, because we are not stupid, and we do have a memory. Thanks.

My favorite book I'd have to say is Psalms and Isaiah. Both have such heart felt scriptures and so much love from the heart. It all tells a story and gives you encouragement. My favorite scripture is Isaiah 41:10-13. There was an Elder that gave a talk, and well, I will not say why it effected me the way it did, but when he read that, I cried through the whole talk. It felt as if a thousand tons had been taken off my shoulders. I love the whole Bible don't get me wrong. I love the way, Jehovah God helped Joshua after he took over for Moses. Very exciting and shows just how much protection we get from our loving Heavenly Father, Jehovah God.

Great question. I'm sorry for using this question for the response. I am usually very kind, and meek. But, when I read what she wrote, that is just way to much. I went to brothers and sisters asking about her when I read the nasty things she said about JW's and how she had been trapped for that many years. Sad, so very sad.

Isaiah 41:10 is mine as well. I also am not a baptized Jehovah's Witness, I am currently a bible student, but coincidentally, I have this quote posted on my desktop on the program sticky notes. It gives me motivation and strength to do what is right :) And when i fall, I always get back up or else . . . well then i would lose =P if u know what i mean :)

    Proverbs.

I love reading Proverbs because it is just as practical today as it was thousands of years ago. Also, many subjects are covered- often in the same chapter, that it is never dull reading.

    Mine will always be Ezekiel.

When I first started to study, the Know Jehovah book came out.

He was the first prophet that I got to know, and what he endured and recorded made a lasting impression on me. I look forward to meeting him.

One of my favorite books is the book of 1 Peter. I'm a little like Peter sometimes, in that i say things without really thinking . So if ever upset anyone, here is my Brotherly hug :-)

Isaiah! it talks about the new earth and it gives nice details on paradise.

    I LOVE IT

Unsilenced Lioness sounds so boring already. dont you have something better to say? you are like a scratch disc, do you just copy and paste the same answer? it is all waste to me, i don't even read your stuff anymore. Not that I ever cared but, seriously get a life.

    Genesis.

I like stories, and it is easy for me to imagine the foods and smells and sights.

Imagine what Jacob's stew must have smelled like, or the round cakes Sarah made for the angels...

The smell of the fields on Esau's clothes that Jacob wore, and what the cup found in Benjamin's sack must have looked like (I also wondered how much grain it must have displaced). xD

    ROFLOL @ LineDancer

Lee- Before Unsliced Ham became more sophisticated at the story-telling, she said she was disfellowshipped for fornication, got reinstated, got into fornication again and got disfellowshipped again.

She also said she got annoyed at the elders' questions about her sex life.

Of course she hides that bit now and says she left coz she found out "stuff" about JW beliefs.

Let her be- the only person who matters here is Jehovah and He knows what really happened with her. It's between her and him after all.
