I reported my vehicle stolen, (I have the police report) a month ago, just found out today it was repoed. However no letter of intent to sell was sent to me, it was sent to an address I had 15 years ago and the repo/finance company failed to notified the police regarding a repo. What are my recourses?

Are they breakin the law if they don't?

I was made an offer of employment along with a start date for the 20th contingent on background/DMV/drug check. Have Never been arrested or took drugs and positive work history. Credit not so great due to being unemployed. The job has nothing to do with money But still how will I know if I passes? If I haven't heard anything do I still go or wait?

I had an job interview with a prestigious company. The hiring manager told the Hr personnel to give me a benefits package But I wasn't offered the job as of yet. Is this something standard companies do or am I really being considered? I appreciate your feed back.

I live in the state of Indiana. I was hired in 2011 and 18 months later I was "laid off". I was the only African American woman in the office. I've gotten rave reviews and praises, No complaints what's so ever. My bosses friend whose Caucasion was hired to help me. She had no experience and i had to train her. A month later I was laid off, Hr said they was going in another direction. Yesterday a friend sent me a message saying the company I was laid off from just sent her an invitation to apply for my position, ( my friend is caucasion). I have the email HR sent her. Do I have a case?

I no longer work due to a layoff however I am due my last paycheck from the employeer. the garnishment order is for $950 but wants 217.00 a week from my earnings. is my last check gonna be garnished if so for how much, the 950 or 217.00?

I am looking into programs for saving my home after being uemployed. I have been working for a while now but the banks refuse to work with me. I was given some information about the HOPE Program. Has anyone had any success with this? any information is greatly appreciated.

Two years ago I got a modification due to unemployment. then I got stable unemployment however my first check wasn't for 1 month and a half. I contacted the bank and thought all was well. I re-applied for a modification and they said no because i will not have a surplus in my account??? I want to keep my home it's all me and my kids have. what are my other recourse to save my house?

I I fell behind on my mortgage payments due to a recent employment. (my first check did not come for a month and a half).I tried to make up the payments and work something out but the mortgage holder would not talk to me. I expressed numerous times via fax how I wanted to come some solution.4 weeks later (yesterday), I get a call from Genworth (PMI holder), saying they are willing to help me and they will be sending out papers for me to fill out and send back. Can anybody tell about this process I have no clue. Why would Genworth help me and not the bank?

Sovereign bank sent letters saying they are gonna foreclose because I haven't made a payment since May. I sent them proof of all payments from my bank for the last three months including the may payment which was a big check. (I paid a little extra). They cannot find the May payment. They said we are gonna cut you a $400.00 check. WHAT? I suppose to owe money but they are sending me a check? Now, no one will get back to me after faxing the information 3 times. Any advice, insights or suggestions?
