We embrace the Jewish Messiah, so yes, we are. And contrary to those who hate us, we are not Christians, we are Jews. We wouldn't call ourselves Jews if we weren't, knowing we are targeted for hate.

Let's listen to Isaiah for an example:

I saw the L-rd sitting upon a throne high and lifted up, and His train filled the temple. 2 Above Him stood the seraphim; each one had six wings: with twain he covered his face and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly. 3 And one called unto another, and said: Holy, holy, holy, is HaShem of hosts; the whole earth is full of His glory. 4 And the posts of the door were moved at the voice of them that called, and the house was filled with smoke.

5 Then said I: Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips; for mine eyes have seen the King, HaShem of hosts. 6 Then flew unto me one of the seraphim, with a glowing stone in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from off the altar; 7 and he touched my mouth with it, and said: Lo, this hath touched thy lips; and thine iniquity is taken away, and thy sin expiated. 8 And I heard the voice of the L-rd, saying: Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then I said: 'Here am I; send me.' 9 And He said: 'Go, and tell this people: hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not. 10 Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they, seeing with their eyes, and hearing with their ears, and understanding with their heart, return, and be healed.' 11 Then said I: 'L-rd, how long?' And He answered: 'Until cities be waste without inhabitant, and houses without man, and the land become utterly waste,

It is when you stand in the presence of God, and not a community, that we come to the understanding, ***I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips***

Please note that is what comes from the altar that takes iniquity...not the prayer.

Please note that we are sent by God.

And when you have been taught celebrating Passover as a Gentile subject is OK like Zakkai taught when he gave birth to Rabbinic Judaism, the obvious will be missed....***"lest they, seeing with their eyes, and hearing with their ears, and understanding with their heart, return, and be healed***

    Hope this helps

    EDIT

***Why is he so hung up on Zakkai anyways?***

I will be happy to give an answer.

As you know, you were answering my question when you said that Jesus told his disciples to follow the Rabbis teaching. http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AmwbD...

I pointed out that Rabbinic Jews

(Orthodox, Conservative, Reform....those who have rabbis)

(a term found on Jewish websites)

    whose father is Zakkai

(again, the terminology is found on Jewish websites)

don't believe Jesus can be called a Rabbi because Rabbinic Judaism would not exist for about another 40 years.

answer: since they are Christians, they are "saved" under that covenant. They believe in hell, Jesus/Yeshua, and needing to be "saved" = Christians

    NONE of them are Jews.
