solving for x in equation with radicals?

0 = x (x^2 - 400x + 41600)^.5 + (x-200) (x^2 + 400)^.5

i know x=66.666666667

but how do i solve for this algebraically

    Bring either parenthesis to the other side, square both sides to get rid of the radical and solve the resulting equation.

    Check that the solutions are acceptable by substituting in the original equation and discard the ones that are not.
