None of them. The translating errors used to push the Christian agenda of proving Jesus in Tanakh are very sad - look at our history and what they have caused.

there are a number of adjustments. Hebrew is a prosperous language and lends its self to multiple possibilities whilst being translated. further to that situation is the cultural difference between Judaism and Christianity and you're confident to have any verbal substitute on the concern get emotional very right now. interior the Latin translation efforts have been made to apply as quite some the Aramaic Targum translation as a threat. Jesus spoke Aramaic and it became into maximum uncomplicated language interior the Israel at that element. with the aid of fact Jesus’ references to the Jewish scriptures have been ordinarily from the Targum translation it made experience to apply them as a reference in translating from the Septuagint (Greek). the 1st translations have been made utilising the Targums the Septuagint and the unique Hebrew. The Targum translation is the place I comprehend the extra youthful females/virgin interpretation got here from. All Jewish translations come right now from the Hebrew text textile. the situation of the version between Christian and Jewish variations isn't as quite some an argument with Christians with the aid of fact we've quite some translations of the OT accessible. Varity is the norm for us, it particularly is not an analogous for Jews. the adjustments interior of Christian translations are no better that the adjustments between any of the them and the Tanakh. because of this your ultimate resource on the adjustments may be Jewish materials. the concern is that Jewish materials are no longer drawn to why there are adjustments or how they got here approximately. All efforts are directed in the direction of proving that Christianity is a faux faith.

The Tanakh is a name used in Judaism for the Hebrew Bible. The Tanakh is also known as the Masoretic Text or the Miqra.
I use the Tanakh when I have questions about any English translation of the Old Testament. My copy happens to contain both English and Hebrew texts and is published by Jews.
I find few differences of any significance between the KJV and the English translation included in my copy of Tanakh.
What, exactly, are you attempting to say?

Perhaps , I don't find any laughter in them.
I come from a traditional where the Bible is usually read in Church ( by experts) our Christian Orthodox Preists who do read the Jewish Scriptures as Well. Ezekiel, Isaiah and others although I personally read the bible I always find the bible , traditinal and very deep.

Hey, while we're waiting for our Jewish friends, I'll go from the other side. Daniel 7:
13. 13. I saw in the visions of the night, and behold with the clouds of the heaven, one like a man was coming, and he came up to the Ancient of Days and was brought before Him.
13. In my vision at night I looked, and there before me was one like a son of man, coming with the clouds of heaven. He approached the Ancient of Days and was led into his presence.
I'll let you pick it apart and guess who's translation is whom's.
And don't get me started on that whole "exceeded" thing. Ha! Religious humor.

I am Christian and I read the Old Testament from a Jewish website. And guess what... My faith hasn't changed.

I'm not sure what version Old timer has, but the ones I've seen are insanely different. The KVJ is the worst translation in my opinion, its so far from the original that it almost has completely different meanings.

Why should you wish to laugh? Surely we all wish to learn from God's word which was given to holy men of old for our benefit.
