If bondage & severe S & M bother you do not read Hoshi no Yakata! I am reading down the yaoi list on MangaFox and read this one last night. Don't let the year of 1999 (some people do not like older manga) fool you as this is very heavily into bondage and s&m!! I thought I had read some heavy H-stuff manga..............until last night! This will disturb you if the subject matter is not your cup of tea.

Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni, Elfen Lied, and School Days are three that I'd recommend if you are a fan of dark anime.

Elfen Lied is a great anime. It's very twisted, the first minute of the first episode has a girl tearing people apart without touching them. :]
