Should my friend be scared if occasionally her chest feels like someone's sitting on it?

She can breathe, but it feels like someone is sitting on her chest. She says it started when she had a cold over a month ago and hasn't left. Should she be concerned? Is it a heart attack in the making or merely anxiety?

Update:

She's 46 and a bit overweight. It goes away when she relaxes and takes a deep breath.

Update 2:

Occasional coughing, but mostly because of minor phlegm.

If she is fairly young and healthy she shouldn't worry about a heart attack, but she should REALLY talk to her doctor about it if it's making her worry.

If she has a persistent cough, she should see a doctor. Otherwise it does sound like anxiety
