  • What's the going rate in the UK (2014) for building a multiple page website?

I'm researching pricing for a school which needs a new website. It will have multiple pages and will need banner creation as well as icons created.

No doubt there will be retouching involved too. Also, editing of text.

They've also asked for pricing on management on a yearly and/or monthly basis.

  • Should my friend be scared if occasionally her chest feels like someone's sitting on it?

She can breathe, but it feels like someone is sitting on her chest. She says it started when she had a cold over a month ago and hasn't left. Should she be concerned? Is it a heart attack in the making or merely anxiety?

  • Should my friend be worried that her period's lasted more than a week?

She says its not normal although it has happened before (2 years ago) at which time she passed a rather large clot. Her periods normally last a week with it fluctuating in flow during that time. She's otherwise very regular and clockwork. I've read that stress can do this. Should she be worried? She's in her mid-40's.

  • What does it mean when my cat is peeing small amounts of blood?

Every so often blood would appear with her urine. I thought she was straining and thus put it to being a bit constipated (and possibly hemorrhoids?) She was 15... and I had to put her down because cysts had developed in her urethra. Without extensive exploratory surgery the doc couldn't say if it was cancer or not. Any ideas? Was it treatable if I had taken her sooner??

  • What are the symptoms of a cat heart attack?

My cat seems to be having what I'd describe as seizures-- once a month since November, but this month she's had two (one of which was this early morning). I've look on the 'net for answers but found that as of yet vets cannot control seizures (even with steroids which bring on another weighty list of side effects). And seizures could be caused from almost anything.

My other theory is that she's having a series of heart attacks. She is 14-1/2 years old and was diagnosed with a slight murmur 2 yrs ago. I'm not confidant that she'd survive all the tests a vet would put her through if I took her to the vet. If she is in fact dying, I'd like to make her as comfortable as possible... but I would like to know what's going on.

Normally after the event, she's very disoriented, but soon recovers with an incredible appetite. Right now she's feels a bit warm and hiding under a dresser, so I think she's not feeling well.

Does anyone have any experience with this?

  • How do I cover grey/white hair?

My hair seems to be falling out because of hair colouring to 'wipe out' my grey hairs. Any other ways to color hair-- and prevent hair loss.

Anyone use aloe vera for this? I've read that it promotes hair growth.

  • Anyone know how to troubleshoot a Sony Cybershot 2.0?

The camera seems to be functioning normally except the LCD display continues to be black (except for the setting displays so I know its on). Actually I'm not even sure if its taking a snapshot come to think of it although I can hear the shutter sound. Anyone know of a link to get an old manual? Or if anyone has the answer, feel free to tell me!

  • How can I get clothes white without bleach?

I'm trying to find an eco-friendly way of getting an old christening gown white again. Right now I'm using lemon but it may take a few applications. I was wondering if anyone else had some good old fashion "remedies" too.

  • cockatiel died this AM; lethargic last night; any ideas?

We found our cockatiel dead later this morning. he was unusually lethargic last night and this morning. We suspect he flew into a window (we let him out of his cage to roam the room) and he was suffering from shock. Any ideas? Was there anything to be done?
