It's not okay, its puss which means it could be infected, but wait a few more days and see if it clears up, it could just be healing a bit. If it doesn't get clear then definitely see the person who pierced it.
Hope I Helped ;)

People who aren't doctors should never give medical advice.
Always see doctor when In doubt.
Puss is usually a sign of infection. How serious is for a doctor to determine. Infections should never be ignored or taken lightly.
The presence of puss in and of itself does not necessarily mean you have anything to worry about. Puss is a natural part of the the body healing itself and that is what your body is doing. Healing itself.
That said, what you are experiencing is not uncommon with a new piercing.
I'd personally get it looked at by a doctor as a doctor can prescribe a treatment for an infection. But I wouldn't panic over it.
I've seen what an infection looks like that leads to an amputation. A couple drops of puss is not that.

It's a minor infection. The white stuff coming out is most likely puss from your body trying to heal the wound. Keep maintaining the piercing as you were instructed when you got it done, and it should go away. If the infection gets worse (a lot of swelling, pain, and pussing) you may have to go in or remove the piercing to avoid complications.

I got mine done recently and if your mouth wash was green that would be what the green was.. If you must change mouth wash to a different colour and see if that effects anything Also when my tongue was healing I had tongue ulcer around the piercing that were white Does the white stuff stay on the tongue or does it go down with your saliva? If your really worried go into your piercer and ask them to look at it

i have a tongue piercing and ive had some white stuff at the top of my barbel and it was coming out of my tongue so i checked up with my piercer and they told me it was normal and that not to try and pull and out or squeeze any out just to keep cleaning it like you do everyday if it gets any worse go to a doctor and have the doctor check it out.
hope this helps good luck and take care.

i have my tongue done as well never saw any white stuff so it may be infected you can go back to the place you got it done and show them they'll be able to tell you and if for some reason you cant get there or they dont know i would suggest going to the doctors. good luck

This question does not help with stereotypes about tongue piercings. Go to the doctor hun, it may be infected. Keep it clean.

That is normal, it's healing. That can happen for up to 2 weeks. just use listerine a few times a day until it clears up. Also use salt water.

If the white puss turns into crusts, then it isn't infected.. then its ok. However if the puss doesn't turn crusty then you need to go to the doctors but remember to NOT remove the jewellery(stud).
