When 2cm dilated, how long before you went into labor.?
When your doctor told you that you were 2cm dilated how long was it before you actually delivered your baby?
I know that each delivery is different and this is number 5 for me. But I want to hear personal experience on how long after being told you are at 2cm dilated did you deliver. (p.s. I have been losing mucus for several days)

I've been 2cm dilated for the last trimester of this pregnancy, if its not your first pregnancy then it's quite normal to be 2cm for weeks, even months before you give birth. I lost my mucus plug yesterday... I'm due in 3 days and waiting for a real sign that something might happen very soon. It's so tiresome all this waiting, waiting, waiting!!!!

At 37 weeks I was 2cm dilated and 80% effaced.
I lost my mucus plug at 38 weeks.
I gave birth naturally on my due date.
It is different for everyone, but since this is your fifth pregnancy then you probably have your own statistics to go by - unless they were all different!

I was 2cm dilated for 3 weeks and nothing. My doctor had to induce me :( Walking helps dilating, you can maybe try that.

Well Like you said it is different for everybody. With my first I was 2 cm at like 32 weeks and delivered him the day before his due date. My 2nd I was induced at 34 weeks so not sure.
