Terrorosits are still trying to bomb our planes (with us on board). Can full body scans work?
Okay you will be screened and shown in detail, naked, somewhere else. Frankly I could care less, the person seeing you doesn't know you or you them and it would be like looking at a picture of a stranger but they could keep a bomber off your flight, I'd rather be naked than dead. Why are so many people opposed to this?

I kind of agree with you, but I think lots of people don't like to think of strangers seeing them naked, which is understandable.
Still, I think using technology against terrorism is of limited value. We could spend billions on making it harder for terrorists to get bombs onto planes - heck, we could make people get full cavity searches and fly naked - but all that would accomplish is to get the terrorists to go blow up something other than a plane (which they already do, in case people hadn't noticed).
We do need security technology, but we also need sensible policies that over the long term reduce the number of people who want to be terrorists.

I only support the use of this technology if ALL people departing an airport are screened with it, even those taking private jets at private airports. Would this technology have caught the christmas day bomber? Doubtful, considering that the bomb was hidden behind his junk. So unless the TSA is going to require everyone to lay down and spread their legs, it is pointless. I'm a man and can tell you that there will be no "professionalism" behind the scenes with this technology. Expect that photos of women going through the process will be plastered all over the internet shortly after it becomes mainstream.

the body scan would not have picked up the underpants bomb
and why should be all give up our privacy and time for this crap
Did you know, that NOW you have to be at the airport 3 hours before the flight?- its faster to drive to your destination

Unless they can scan where the sun don't shine, because that's where he was supposed to have hidden the fuse. Eew
