do you think 6th graders should date?

lol i love 6th grade dating. it's so freaking funnnnnny. and i have no idea how old you are.

Its perfectly natural for 6th graders to date. If a person was not able to learn how to communicate with the opposite gender when young, then they soon produce a mental state where they think they can't find a person to love and will usually end up having PTSD. In many schools, teachers try to discourage dating, but it's not logical for the outcome. And also, school dances are not a place for 6th grade couples to hug or kiss. Kids right now are judged by appearance and not intelligence, so they will of course not show any affection for someone in a dance. A kid would probably kiss his/her boyfriend/girlfriend while outside in the mall or on a date.

I think you are between the age of 25 - 45. I'm thinking you were a chaperon for their dance because how you phrased that sentence shows that you did not go to all the dances.

they wouldn't even be able to grasp the real meaning of a relationship.

sixth graders wouldn't even understand, what to do with a 'boyfriend' or 'girlfriend'

theres pleeently more time in life for boyfriends, at the age of 12 you should just be focusing on friends + stuff that really matters without all the stress of a boyfriend or girlfriend.

i honestly don't think there is nothing wrong with dating in 6th grade.

but as long as they claim they are dating and maybe a kiss or to.

no making out , fingering and so on.

i didn't even kiss anyone until 7th grade! , but have plenty of boyfriends

Id say ya, I mean 12 year old "date" , But not really. They just hardly kiss and hold hands @ school nothing more

I dated when I was 12. I didn't exactly call it that to my parents tho. But I kissed her and stuff. Nothin heavy like makin out. I think it's ok for kids that age to date. Gives em a chance to get a feel for stuff. No sex or heavy makin out tho....although I knew a few who did that too.

i dont think that 6th graders should date. they should enjoy their childhood while it last.

well since ur asking the question, ur probably in 5th or 6th grade, so like 11 or 12

they should'nt but it's their decision. i was in 6th grade when i had my 1st boyfriend. we took things really slow we didnt hug until 1month and didnt kiss until the 6th month. the average 6th grade realationship at my school was hug,talk,kiss. nobody really started french kissing until 7th(if they made it that far)
