Does friends with benefits really work?

You are correct---SOMEONE ALWAYS GETS HURT--usually the reason for casual sex is that --IT FEELS GOOD---then someone gets jealous or wants a relationship and it gets RUINED. Not very hard to understand. Someone meets another person and gets serious--the casual sex stops and the other person is all alone and sad and starts getting depressed and lonely and making immature behavior actions or cruel lies--or something equally immature. Spend a few bucks on a prostitue--NO COMMITTMENT--no cares--no ties---nothing but quick mindless sex.

No and don't anyone fool you. It's not nice to use others, plain and simple. You should be looking for sincere friendships.

yep, lasted 2 months and it was the happiest i've ever been.

just a booty call..so if you need that then go for it, but fwb is not really a relationship, more like just someone your getting off with.

i personally don't think it works because it can break a lot of hearts but its your life you can live it how ever you want to :)

no it doesn't work at all...someone always ends up getting attached no matter how much they say they won't or try not to....

i've had several FwB's... some work, some don't... some people need it for self esteem reasons... some need it for other reasons...
