What to do with old National Geographic magazines?

Cleaning out my basement I found several decades worth of National Geographic magazines. I dont need them, I have them all on CD-ROM now. I dont know if they have any resale value, or if I should donate them, or just trash them. Any ideas?

Old National Geographic magazines are basically worthless. Because a lot of people, yourself and my parents as well, have kept their old NG magazines, just like Life magazine.

If you had a Playboy #1 from 1953, then that would be worth a lot.

Throw them out, recycle them. They're not worth anything.

In the local Antique shop they sell the Coca Cola ads from the back covers for $6.00 to $8.00 a piece.

You could probably try and sell them on ebay, craigslist, donate them to the library, thrift store, or even to the Salvation Army.

preserve them and sell them on ebay in like 50 years (or so) as antiques to weird collectors. make sure they are in very good condition.
