Why did Global Warming forget Toronto, Canada?

We haven't had a summer in 3 years and our winters have been brutal. Should I file a "MISSING PHENOMENON" report?

Update:

Eric C., Were you in Toronto for the winters of 2007, 2008? I've lived in T.O. for over 40 years and the weather over that time has been as diverse as its citizenry. Wacky weather due to natural phenoms yes, AWG, give me a break.

I am sorry but the newspapers being liberal owned will not print the fact that the planet is well on its way into at least a little ice age like happened between 1300 and 1850. So the further north you live the colder it is more likely to get over the next 50 to 60 years. My grandfather moved our family to Los Angeles from Minnesota in the mid 40s because he felt from his studies we were on the verge of another ice age. His studies were correct, but he did not anticipate the freak warm spell im the 1990s that the entire AGW fraud is based.

in Quebec we already get plenty of snow, every winter comes and go as soon as we get 40°C some warmist call for GW but he shut up when were getting 17°C in summer. inclement weather is always caused by GW but when weather is average we hear nothing.

The warmist always use some extreme weather to justify is cause but never look up the record for such an event. We are beating record that stand since the 40's, 50's and 60's and that qualifies us for GW. if that was a trend in GW wouldn't we be beating record established in the last 10 to 20 years instead, if it was as bad as reported shouldn't we be beating new record every single year.

No we still have problem beating 50 years old record. GW is a man made problem , not the weather GW but the media hysteria made around the GW.

Weather maybe changing, it has been for 50 000 years, why would we have any significant influence over it?

Dude I live in Markham, just outside of Toronto its 2'C and there is no snow on the ground, usually I'd be shovelling away in -15'C.

I COULD SAY THAT BUT I WON'T. WHY???

BECAUSE A COLD WINTER DOES NOT DEBUNK GW JUST AS MUCH AS A HOT SUMMER PROVES IT.

If we still used regular NON- scientific observations for everything, we'd be curing heart attacks with leeches.

I have been here since December. I still have not shoveled any snow.

Edit: I concur that the last two winters were hard, and from what my friends told me, this summer was one of the worst. Nothing but rain.

I live in Ontario too and I completely agree. Of course, the warmists will just tell us it's getting colder as a result of climate change, or that that's why we're getting more storms. But just enjoy it now because the moment we get some good, warm weather, everywhere you look it'll be hailed global warming.

I'm just north of Oshawa and it is so mild I'm contemplating going for a walk to the lake shore today. In fact on New Year's eve (Normals Max: -4°C Min: -13°C) my weather station (I have one of these http://www.weathershop.com/davis_vantage_pro2.htm ) is telling me that it is presently raining outside and +2°C. I'm not sure where you were hiding but my summer was great with lots of fun on the water.

Summer is the result of the tilting of Earth on its axis. During the Northern Hemisphere's summer, the axis is tilted so that the Northern Hemisphere receives more direct sunlight.

It simply untrue that that Toronto has not "had a summer in 3 years."

Sure looks like the region is warming to me (see links below). I suggest you look up the definitions of the following four terms:

    Weather

    Climate

    Local

    Global
