What is wrong with my ankle?

Yesterday i was jumping on a trampoline with my sister and a few friends and we all bounced sitting at the same time but i landed before the rest of them and my sister landed on my right ankle all twisted. When i walk on it it just feels stiff but when i release pressure it stings. On the far side of my foot where the bone is, it's really swollen and pretty red. I tried elevating it while I slept but it kept falling and hurting. What is wrong with my ankle and wat can I do to fix it?

I agree, It doesn't sound like it's broken, just sprained. Best thing to do...Ice that bad boy down!!! and yes, elevate your foot. if the swelling doesn't go down in a couple of days, maybe you should see the doctor...maybe

Usually while you pay attention a pop, you may have torn some thing, frequently a ligamentt. The ankle is not an overly steady joint, and sprains are normal at that website. If it is black and blue, hurts even if your now not utilizing it, and really infected, you without doubt have a 2d to third measure sprain. Until you'll move see a surgeon, ice it, hold it improved, and check out to alleviate as so much stress from that ankle as feasible. Take a few ibuprofen for the anguish. It's most likely now not a well concept to play soccer that is one of these prime touch recreation till you may have been cleared by way of a surgeon.

well ive had my fair share of ankle problems being a very athletic person so my best guess is either a regular sprained ankle or maybe a strain. it doesnt sound like its broken but it never hurts to see a doctor. i thought i sprained my ankle but it ended up my growth plate was broken! its pretty much up to you, you can practice r.i.c.e (just look it up on google) or go to a doctor and see what they say
