Fellow Christians: Which Form Of Suffering Do You Think Was Toughest For Jesus Christ?

40 Days and 40 Nights With No Food or Water, complete fasting and constantly tempted by the Devil.

or...

Crucifixion?

Keep in mind that if Christ had failed on either point, humankind would have been hosed.

Keep in mind JESUS DIDN'T FAIL !!!!!

    Edit:

Both of these were terrible events of suffering but the crucifixion would be most likely have been the worse of the two.

    The Crucifixion

The crucifixion definitely. Not just because he was beaten one shy lashing of a death penalty and not just because he was forced to carry his cross up a hill. It wasn't just because he was nailed to the cross and hung there for hours. It wasn't just because a crown of thorn was pushed down on his head or because he had a robe ripped off of his wounds. But the reason the crucifixion was so painful for Jesus is because all the sins of mankind were placed on his head. He was a scapegoat for all of mankind. We can't imagine the kind of torture he went through. Every sin you've ever done and ever will do combined with all the sins of every single person who has ever walked this earth were placed on his shoulders. He took our punishment. He died for our sins so we don't have to. Now when we die we don't have to go to hell and be punished for our sins because Jesus was punished in our place. If you go through the punishment for your sins it would be unbearable. Now take that and multiply it by every living soul that has ever lived on your planet and... like I said earlier, we can't imagine the torture that Jesus went through and overcame. Something that no one else in the history of earth could ever do.

    Both really.

Jesus Chriust did these both for us. Our betterment, future and teaching to train us in weakness, flase worldly promises and so forth that occur to some people in their lives.

The usage of the armor of God and sword of the spirit allowed Jesus Cjhrist to refeerence the bible in defence, teach us as well.
