Is it ethical for born again Christians to be pilots?
If a person truly believes in the rapture how can they fly a plane which will be left without a pilot at some point when they disappear?
I was actually researching the claim that British Airways must have a non Christian pilot on board in every flight but found this article:

I agree with the FAA. What are your views on this?
@Just Me
The story is probably a fake but the issue isn't - risk management will probably force such a view on most insurance policies.

I agree, i think it would be extremely irresponsible and unethical for any christian to be a pilot.
christians will probably argue that since the only people that will be left after the rapture will be non believers then it doesnt matter if they die when the plane crashes because they will be going to hell anyways.

No, I do not agree with the FAA. That would be the same as saying "Don't let a person get their drivers license, because the rapture may take place while they are driving and all those innocent people may die that are out on the streets in other vehicles." Born again believers are all over the place, you can't prevent them from working or making a living out of fear that they are going to be raptured and you are going to be the one left behind. I would be in more fear of being left behind, not at how many people are going to die if a plane falls from the sky because the pilot disappears. Those people will die eventually anyway because they are obviously sinners, not been saved.

That is an urban myth; the FAA is bound by the Civil Rights Act of 1964. They cannot discriminate based on religion.
Believers of the rapture should not pilot any aircraft or vessel or operate any motor vehicle or any heavy equipment. If they do they are not true Christians.

The Rapture is a relatively young doctrine, rejected by Catholic, Orthodox, Mainline, and many other kinds of Protestant Christianity.
Not all Christians interpret Revelation the same way.

You have GOT to be kidding me???
My DH is a pilot and this revocation of his license never happened. Research what you read a little better.
BTW, the "rapture" already occured..back in AD 70.

my view is this...obviously these people in high positions such as the FFA MUST believe in the rapture of the Church, why else would they revoke the pilots license. But this is no surprise, we have been for told of these things happening.

You can't go that far in daily life, that isn't practical.
God will care for those in the end times ultimately.
