I want to play soccer so badly?

i know what you mean. first tiem i ever watched soccer , it was the most amazing thing ever, i thought headers into the goal was AMAZING, and it's soo cool how they can head it in accuratly [sometimes] But yeah go for it try it out. I tried out my first year for the fall [i'm in 10th grade] and i loved it, even though i was no good at it. I was benched most of the time. But i played as offense [forward/striker] and i made a goal once. AMAZING FEELING EVER.

Have you been following the World Cup for 2010? Its my new obsession. Incase you don't know what it is, it's when 32 different countries qualify their national team for an event called the World Cup and they duke it out to see who is the best. It's like the Olympics but with Soccer, and it's only every 4 years. This year it's hosted in South Africa this JUNE. ! cannot wait. hope portugal wins !

Go for it! You wont know if you dont try. Maybe you are naturally good at playing soccer, you have to try out to find out. You should not be afraid to try out for the team, maybe you get choosen! If you dont try it you will always regret not having taken that chance. Think positive, that you'll be able to do it. Its a very fun sport that you will end up falling in love with, literally! I am a huge soccer fan and enjoy watching the games.

Practice makes perfect. I am not the best player, I am terrible at headers and can't even time them right so I usually miss, but I have made a few different soccer teams. I can't do cartwheels either and my strength is below average. But to be a good player you do not necessarily have to be great at every facet of the game. Most of the best players in the world are good at special parts of the game and not everything. If you practice to better your skills and train to better your strength, you'll probably be good enough to make the team. I say go for it and good luck!

That's okay if your not good you will get good! You should go for your dream! Ask yourself these questions: Do you ENJOY doing soccer?

Can you MAKE IT to all the games and practices?

Are you going to be a GOOD SPORT about winning AND loosing?

If you answered yes to all these questions then.... your ready to play soccer and kick but!

Its all about practice, practice practice. You should try playing some pickup soccer games to get a feel for it. Playing in pickup soccer games allows you to practice in game like situations without the competitive nature. If you like it a lot, then you can join your schools team. playing soccer isnt that hard for girls. its not like mens soccer they could kick the ball hard and head it hard. try out you'll make the team

Yeah we were bad throughout the World Cup and deserved to lose. Just saying that proves that we aren't sore losers though I guess.
