I need to remove the picture from a water bottle.?
I got some free water bottles I would like to use for my pre-school sons Valentine school party. However, they have a picture of teenagers in bathing suits on them (not bad pics just not something parents of pre-schoolers would appreciate). I need suggestions on how to remove these pics or cover them up. I would like them to still be able to use them as water bottles, so not vases or other things. I only have enough for the class, so there aren't any to experiment on. It has to be right the first time.

If they're plastic - first try to rip off the big chunks of the label. With the pieces that are left, spray furniture polish on the paper and let it soak a minute (the paper probably has a resistant coating, that's why I suggested to rip off the big chunks - to allow the spray to get underneath). The furniture polish dissolves the adhesive.

What kind of bottle are they? I imagine these aren't the disposable kind, as then you would be able to just peel the label/picture off. If the bottles are made of metal, you could try the other suggestions such as scratching off the pictures, but that might take a long time to do enough for the entire class. Instead, you could simply opt to create a picture on the computer and print it off, such as this one http://www.adobetutorialz.com/content_images/Adobe... Then you could tape each of these images around the bottle. The downside is that the preschoolers could peel off the paper.
Good luck!

Soak them in water, and just scratch it off. If they are metal try a scrub brush, but that leaves scratches. Good Luck

I would try some Goo Gone. I reuse all types of plastic food containers this way.
