She wears her pants so long that they are underneath her feet. They get totally nasty and then she comes walking into my clean house. They are hand-me-downs from older sister, but this girl just doesn't have the height her sister does. It's kinda the style of this age girls to wear pants that long, but I'm tired of putting up with it. I'm afraid if I talk to her about it, I'll make her mad enough to go live with her mom (who is not a suitable parent) but she is at that age where she could choose to live with her mom. I've raised her since she was 4 and she's 13 now. How can I approach her without getting the rolling eyes and the famed "whatever" quote?

3 times my in-laws have "ambushed" myself and my husband with telling us how wrong we are treating and raising our kids. My husband and I are in our 40's have 5 kids from 5 to 20 years old and all but the 5 year old are from husband's first marriage. My in-laws don't have a clue about divorce, step-parenting, or how to deal with lesbian's (the kid's mom is one). They don't bother to get the facts, and make accusations and such and then are mad at us because we won't let the kids go to their house. They have accused me of talking on the internet to my ex..which I did but for a very innocent reason and my husband knew about it beforehand. They really loved me in the beginning of our marriage but because my sister-in-law is jealous of us she is trying to turn my in-laws against us. I don't want my kids going to see their grandparents when they run me down and then there's the thing that they don't believe in the Bible and we raise our kids in church and teach them Bible principles. 1.)How do we get my in-laws to STOP doing this, we used to enjoy going to their house, but now we never know what to expect so we don't go? 2.)How do we make them see that THEY are in the wrong and we deserve an apology?

I have had my batteries and charger tested and both are fine. My camera won't even come on and seems to only like the Kodak batteries that came with it which are dead now. The camera even states on the side that Ni-MH batteries are compatible. What's wrong with my camera and how do I get these batteries to work in it...they do work in other battery operated devices.

I got some free water bottles I would like to use for my pre-school sons Valentine school party. However, they have a picture of teenagers in bathing suits on them (not bad pics just not something parents of pre-schoolers would appreciate). I need suggestions on how to remove these pics or cover them up. I would like them to still be able to use them as water bottles, so not vases or other things. I only have enough for the class, so there aren't any to experiment on. It has to be right the first time.

I am the step-mom to her kids. She has them all summer and this year the youngest has to have a vaccination before she will be allowed to go to school. I can't do it because the daughter isn't here for me to take her to the dr. Her mom just has an excuse for everything as to why SHE can't take her, can't get off work, don't know where to take her, it will cost too much. What do I do or say to her mom to make her understand she HAS to have this shot or she cannot go to school until she gets it. MY only option is to take her to the dr the first day of school and daughter doesn't want to miss first day of school. Her mother is just so hard to get along with and would rather make her kids suffer out of spite for their dad and me.

I have information concerning whereabouts, relatives and other such details. I was thinking about sending the landlord a letter giving him an email address to contact if he wanted the information, instead of just sending him all the info.

I disputed a charge with a company through my credit card , they did their investigation and I got a letter stating the dispute was resolved in my favor. That was in January 2008, now June the original company has a bill collector after me, do they have a case? The original debt was from June 2007.

and steam cleaned and vacuumed up baking soda. I have vacuumed probably 8 times in the last 2 days. What is wrong with this carpet, I don't know what else to do. Everyone has to wear socks in the house or wash your feet before going to bed and such. Anybody else have this problem?

She wants to go to school where she has since kindergarten but the school says she can't enroll herself, it costs $25 to enroll, plus she moved out because we caught her in lies that she wouldn't own up to and went to live at grandparents. Her mother says she has custody of her (even tho she lives in a different state). Does her dad have to enroll her? she says if he doesn't she won't finish school because she doesn't want to go where she lives--it's only about 10 miles from us and is legal for her to attend our school with her dad living in the district. I'm her stepmom and I had nothing to do with her leaving, but her dad is so caught up in her lieing, smoking, and then moving out, he doesn't know if she SHOULD enroll her or let her grow up on her own. She is a senior but doesn't have alot of common sense, otherwise she'd still be living here.

i've tried soaking them as soon as i empty them, the dishwasher can't get them clean, is there an easy way to clean these silly things

what do you think of company? I signed up to be a rep so I ordered their demonstrators kit for $200. They have charged my credit card but haven't shipped it so I'm disputing charge as I am unable to talk to anyone.

killings? I can kinda understand childhood diseases and such, but why let something so brutal and totally preventable happen? I am a faithful Christian but this has bugged me for years.

Anything I can do to help her see he needs to move out? I've told her about income based apartments and such. She feels sorry for him cuz he's paying alot of child support and says he can't afford to move. She believes him over anyone else. No one in the family likes him, we just tolerate him. His parents don't get invited to alot of things cuz he always tags along.

I've tried with a small sippy cup but the water goes in and feels like when you go swimming and your head is full of water. What am I doing wrong? Just tell me how to position my head.

We want to buy a house, we have money to buy one, no debt and a decent monthly income. It's hard to give up a free house but this one leaks, is laid out weird, and is most inconvenient for cooking meals and entertaining. How do we know when the right time to move is? All 4 kids want to live here as this is the only place they've ever lived.

I just can't get going in the mornings without a dew. I also need to lose weight but can't exercise if I can't wake up!
