Does anyone know where the old "Grant's Tomb" is in Maryland?

Update:

Allow me to share a bit of Cold War history with you. In the Aspin Hill area of Montgomery County Maryland, a company was formed called "Vitro Labs". Vitro started out in the early 1900s by selling a special lighting system for theaters that used uranium salts to make a soft yellow light that resembled sunlight. When scientists realized that uranium was a key component in building atomic bombs, Vitro Labs became the major provider of uranium to the US Military. Vitro Labs had their main offices in Aspin Hill Maryland near what was/is known as the Northgate Shopping Plaza. One of the anchor stores at Northgate was Grant's Department Store. There was a basement level in Grant's where Vitro also maintained a business office. People that worked for Grant's or Vitro refered to it as "Grant's Tomb" for its subteranian location. The KGB often sent their spies to Grant's to scope-out Vitro and try to gain intelligence information.

Northgate Shopping Center is still where it was many years ago at the corner of Aspen Hill and Georgia. I believe the area formerly occupied by Grant's Dept. Store (I'd forgotten about that one) is now a grocery store. According to what I hear on the grapevine, the basement was filled in many years ago. A brief check of EPA sites did not reveal any information on that location. Interesting, though.
