The Dems are no different than the GOP when it comes to corporate greed.

The U.S. government, once crafted as a system that would serve the interests of the people, has devolved into a system of plutocracy where corporations control both the government and the people. Virtually every government regulatory department, for example, is now run by the corporations it is supposed to be regulating. Just look at the FDA, USDA, FTC, FCC, NRC (Nuclear Regulatory Commission) and most other government regulatory bodies and you'll find a room full of politicians and bureaucrats who utterly disregard the People while prioritizing the financial needs of influential corporations.

The ones in our government want to so that they can create a larger more diverse powerful voting bloc. Others want it because they are bitter and think they are OWED something they didn't earn. For more information, see some of the answers. Charity is no longer charity once mandated. No one stops to think about all the non-profit groups that depend on donations to operate. (Hospice, Salvation Army, Humane Society....etc) They are donated to generously by all walks of life. When they no longer have the extra income to give...they just won't.

No more so than conservatives. Liberals view tax cuts for the rich, private school vouchers, no-bid contracts for the Vice-President's former employers, regulatory exemptions for the insurance companies, and a wide variety of other special favors granted by Republican-led governments to business interests as a redistribution of wealth. The entire movement toward privatization and deregulation redistributed wealth from the poor to the wealthy, to the detriment of every American.

No, not in those words, but in the same sense. What the Liberal voter believes, is that if they're poor, the hard working rich American needs to give their earnings away to support them, the Liberal elected government believes f the American people, I am a King, and I'll do as I please, all the while convincing the voter that I am taking care of them...those lazy welfare recipients!

But in essence that is redistribution of wealth. The Democrats who are fake Liberals are keeping the 'lower' classes needy and dependent upon government, what better way to control them?

Yes, but they don't understand or seem to care about that it is targeted to the middle class,,, the rich elitist will keep their money. We will have a poor class and a rich class. All you have to do is look at the rich democrats in congress to see if they have redistributed their wealth. You know they haven't...and they won't...or they would have done it already.

If you think that 3 percent of the nations populous holding 90 percent of the nations "wealth" a healthy reason to keep chugging along go for it. And to keep with the times, Obama doesn't want, and wont redistribute wealth. It won't happen, the same will continue to coalesce, less for us, more for them, and sooner than latter find out this free enterprise game was slated from the get go.
