does mana-burn also affect non-basic lands?

As of the release of Magic 2010 Core Set (M10) last summer mana burn no longer exists.

When mana burn was still a rule, unused mana would cause mana burn whether it came from a basic land, a non-basic land, or even a non-land source of mana like Sol Ring or Dark Ritual.

P.S. I also am wondering if you know how basic lands add mana to your mana pool given your asking "does it act as 1 basic land" for that turn. Basic lands only add mana to your mana pool if you tap them. For example, a Forest may only have a big green mana symbol for rules text but this mana is not added to your mana pool until you tap it for mana. The Forest actually has the rules text "Tap: Add G to your mana pool" - the giant symbol in place of rules text is to help basic lands look different from other cards.

Well hey guess what you dont have to worry about mana burn at all any more... they removed this rule so you could tap all your remaining mana that you cant use even if its infinite and youll still not mana burn. But to answer your question, if you still wanna play old school house rules with mana burn then yes mana burn affects all lands that adds some sort of mana, it doesnt matter if its colorless mana or if its colored mana, it is still mana to your mana pool.
