How do I download Maths symbols to use in yahoo answers?
I'm a silver surfer so please keep it simple! I tried Fire-Math but couldn't transfer it from firefox. I probably need more practice!

I copied and pasted the HTML symbols from this page onto a Notebook page in my computer.

Whenever I want a symbol, I just copy it from my own stash and paste it into the Y!A answer box.

Well, assuming that you are using Windows, perhaps the easiest way is to go to
Programs/Accessories/System Tools/Character Map
which gives a wide range of alphabets and scripts. For special symbols (although they are included in the main table, if you can find them), click on "Group by" and then "Unicode Subrange", and in the menu which appears click "Mathematical Operators".
Then select the ones you want and click select. Then go back to Answers and paste in using Ctrl + V.
(You can select several symbols at once, they all appear in the "characters to copy" box. Then you can copy the whole lot once somewhere on your Answers box, and then select each one as you need it without going to the character map every time. (If you don't know, you can select using the key combination "Ctrl + C" ). But don't forget to delete the selection strip before you post anything to the site!)
