On depo shot, what are the chances of being pregnant?

I have been on regular depo shots for over a year. I have never been late on my dates. I have not regular periods or spotting because of the depo shots. Just last month after my depo shot, I noticed that I have started to gain weight, about 6lbs but I think that could be contributed to stuffing my face during the holiday season.

I have also been getting more gas than usual and going to the bathroom a whole lot more (I am drinking a lot more water to flush my system since I was eating so much). I also feel bloated from time to time and sometimes sitting down or riding the bus makes me dizzy, not so much feeling like vomiting but just light-headed. And I've started getting more allergic to certain perfumes. I am waiting for my doctor's appointment tomorrow. Any guesses before I go?

The weight gain is from the depo. It made me blow up. It is really really rare to get pregnant while on depo (although I did meet one woman that did.) Most of the time, if there is a pregnancy, the woman conceived before she got on depo and didn't realize it. If you've been on it for over a year, I would bet you're not pregnant. Hopefully, the doctor can help you. By the way, they may make you get off of Depo soon. It can effect your bone density. I was on it for 2-3 years and they told me I had to stop taking it. Good luck!
