    Cheesesteaks for everyone!

Since the Philadelphia Eagles will represent the NFC in this year's Super Bowl XLIV.

Here's a few ideas...some standard fare...some different the the same stuff that everyone else serves...

    STANDARD:

-BBQ baby back ribs, Hot Dogs, Pizza, Nachos/Guacamole, Popcorn, Mixed Nuts, Hamburgers, Buffalo Wings with celery sticks & ranch dressing

-Beverage assortment of course: Sodas, Beer, Wine, Cocktails, Water

    SOMETHING DIFFERENT:

    - Mini "Chili & cheese" Bread bowls: Take some dinner rolls and cut out the center leaving the bottom in tact. Fill up the little bread bowls with piping hot ready made chili (in a double boiler on low or in a crockpot). You can garnish them with shredded cheddar cheese & chopped white onions. Don't make them ahead, just have everything set out like a little buffet for your guests to assemble.

-Hoisin & Honey Glazed Chicken Wings: Instead of regular buffalo wings just bake up a batch of chicken wings that have been drizzled in a mixture of hoisin sauce (Chinese BBQ sauce) and honey. Add in a little water to the glaze to thin it out. Bake as you normally would but make sure you cover the pan with foil. You can crisp them up slightly under the broiler but be careful as the sugar content is high and it can burn easily.

-If you've got bucks to spare....you could always dazzle your friends with a New Orleans style "Peel and Eat" Shrimp Fest. Just take a huge pot and boil up lots of shrimp, smoked sausage, red potatoes and corn on the cob. Place lots of newspaper or butcher paper on the entire kitchen table and pour all of the food out on big platters. Serve up with cold beer, Louisiana style Crystal Hot Sauce, slices of lemon and hot bread. You will make alot of people happy if they dig shrimp!
