Scarlet Letter Question?
I the Scarlet Letter by Hawthore, there is a part where Hester is described as helping others and visting the sick or something of the nature that helps improve her image to society. I NEED to find this passage but since I haven't opened this book in a while I have no idea as to what chapter it would even be close to. Can somebody help me out? If I have the chapter number that would be fantastic!

Hester can never show Pearl's authentic father The Reverend Dimsdale can never show that he fell in love with Hester and is in charge for Pearl's life. And what approximately Pearl? In that factor, she substitute into refrained from because of the fact of her doubtful parentage. do not you think of SHE suffered because of the fact of her father and mom' sufferings?
