If the buck stops with Obama like he says, why is he always blaming George Bush for our failed economy?

I'll bet most of Obama's disciples are so ignorant of history that they think Obama actually made that phrase up. Actually, it was Truman, I believe, who said "The buck stops here". Obama blames Bush for this latest thing, too, because he "inherited" the Bush Homeland Security beaurocracy. Which is currently staffed by people OBAMA appointed, of course.

And in all this blaming Bush for the recession, neither Obama nor his disciples - like your first answerer - ever mention the fact that Clinton started this decline when he took the leash off the banking industry and then the Democrats' policies made things worse. And they laughed at Bush when he tried to warn them.

Because the Speech writer knew that those few words could result in a couple poll points tomorrow with a properly programmed teleprompter.

Don't think for a second that Obama even knew he was saying it at the time. The speech writers could program "The American people need to eat Shirt and die" and I guarnatee you SOME of it would get on the air!

He lied, he was only readying and saying what the teleprompter speech wrote by some one else said, he will continue to blame Bush and so will BO sheep. They do not take responsibility for their mistakes and that is why many are going to have their butt handed to them on a platter in Nov.

That's the liberal motto, when all else fails blame bush and if that fails pull the race card out,LOL To bad America has canceled that card, it has been used way past it's limit

Because he thought that would make a good sound bite to say that at the moment, but he really still thinks everything is Bush' fault.

Remember over 3 years ago this site was filled with ''we won we kicked your butts Bush is going to jail'' ''elections have consequence'' evidently taking responsibility is NOT one of them

Because the economy tanked under Bush, beginning in the fall of 2007. The disaster was worst since 1929. It only makes sense to lay the blame at the feet of those who are responsible.

Because words mean nothing to him, they roll off his tongue like trash being rolled down a landfill. Smells and looks about that bad too.
