That's unfortunate for Texas.
I'm an BC Eagles fan, my season ended a month ago so I don't really care, but I can't help to wonder that it could be like 21-7 Texas if McCoy didn't get hurt. Bama looked awful when he was in there.

Why would you run an option with Colt McCoy? He has a history of getting knocked out of games. He got knocked out of a game against Kansas State on a quarterback sneak. Why not leave him in the shotgun all night and let him throw the ball or hand off to a running back?

That's what I love about Texas fans-ready to turn on their team as soon as the going gets a little rough. I live in Austin and can attest that Texas fans cry more after a victory than after a loss. UT players are a class act. Their fans are a bunch of whiiiiners!
