I fitted a friedland 868 (made by response),very good piece of kit,the main panel has an auto dialler built in so in the event of an alarm, you can get it ring six pre programmed numbers of your choice, and it continues to phone till it gets a response. Also it has a facility whereby if you program everyone in household with there own entry code, you can get it to text you when a certain number has been punched in(say for kiddies comin home from school,or for cleaner/tradespeople etc)AND you can dial it back ,and listen in to whats goin on.The system is expandable,so you can add extra keypads/p.i.rs/garage door contacts. Its wireless, and has some fancy pants electronic gadgetry that stops anyone jammin the frequency thus rendering it faulty, but also sends you a message to let you know someones tampering with it.I got the platinum system for £285,following an attempted break in,and would definitely recommend it .
