East:
1. Tennessee (Rocky Top Revival!) 10-2
2. Florida 10-2
3. Kentucky 8-4
4. Georgia 8-4
4. South Carolina (tie with UGA) 7-5
6. Vandy (Mayve 3-9, better than this year) 3-9
West:
1. Alabama 12-0
2. Auburn 10-2
2. LSU (another tie) 10-2
4. Arkansas 8-4
4. Mississippi State (Another tie, and a SHOCKER. Mullen's doing a great job at State) 8-4
6. Ole Miss (No Snead... I assume that's a bad thing) 5-7
How the West is won:
In the end, Bama's 2 games vs. LSU and Auburn will be big factors. I think they'll pass both tests.
Alabama will be tested again, but as an Auburn fan, The SEC West still isn't good enough, but it's getting better. Another 12-0 season for Saban and the Crimson Tide.
Auburn will be improved with better depth on defense and the #1 JUCO player Cameron Newton likely at QB.
LSU will be improved as well, but they will win too many games by the skin of their teeth. They will win 3 games where they were outgained by at least 100 yards.
Arkansas will be a good football team, led by Heisman contender Ryan Mallett.
Mississippi State, the SEC surprise, will go from 4-8 to 8-4 and the Chick-Fil-A Bowl. I like what Mullen's doing off the field, which will lead to success on the field.
Ole Miss.... ugh.... It will be a long season at Oxford. The offense will struggle.
How the East was won:
Tennessee will beat Florida and Georgia early in the year, suffer a few upsets, but hold on for the SEC Title Game berth against likely #1 Alabama.
Florida will be OK next year, but a loss to UT and an upset against another SEC foe will keep them from a second straight 12-0 season.
Kentucky will be the surprise of the Eastern division. Joker Phillips is ready, and UK will take a huge step in Year 1 of the post-Brooks era.
Georgia will tie with UK. I think Georgia is in a big-time down period. Don't expect them to truely contend until 2011.
South Carolina.... Well, they'll be themselves.... Again.
Vandy... Same as USC... themselves...

Kind of funny how everyone talked about Jevan Snead as if he was the worst starting quarterback in the history of college football but now that he's leaving Ole Miss will collapse.

Florida wins the East simply because UGA is not good enough. I think SC will be fourth with Tennessee in either 2nd or 3rd. They beat UGA this year and probably will next year.
The west I think you can't go against Bama. Auburn will shock and finish in 2nd. Then LSU, Arkansas, Ole Miss and Miss. St.
