If George W. Bush had been the first President to need a teleprompter installed to be able to get through a press conference, would you have laughed and said this is more proof of how he inept he is on his own and is really controlled by smarter men behind the scenes?

                  If George W. Bush had spent hundreds of thousands of dollars to take Laura Bush to a play in NYC, would you have approved?

                  If George W. Bush had reduced your retirement plan's holdings of GM stock by 90% and given the unions a majority stake in GM, would you have approved?
                   
                  If George W. Bush had made a joke at the expense of the Special Olympics, would you have approved?
                   
                  If George W. Bush had given Gordon Brown a set of inexpensive and incorrectly formatted DVDs, when Gordon Brown had given him a thoughtful and historically significant gift, would you have approved?
                    
                  If George W. Bush had given the Queen of England an iPod containing videos of his speeches, would you have thought this embarrassingly narcissistic and tacky?
                   
                  If George W. Bush had bowed to the King of Saudi Arabia and the Emperor of Japan, would you have approved?
                   
                  If George W. Bush had visited Austria and made reference to the non-existent "Austrian language," would you have brushed it off as a  minor slip?
                   
                  If George W. Bush had filled his cabinet and circle of advisers with people who cannot seem to keep current in their income taxes, would you have approved?
                   
                  If George W. Bush had stated that there were 57 states in the United States , would you have said that he is clueless.
                    
                  If George W. Bush would have flown all the way to Denmark to make a five minute speech about how the Olympics would benefit him walking out his front door in Texas , would you have thought he was a self important, conceited, egotistical idiot.
                    
                  If George W. Bush had been so Spanish illiterate as to refer to "Cinco de Cuatro" in front of the Mexican ambassador when it was the 5th of May (Cinco de Mayo), and continued to flub it when he tried again, would you have winced in embarrassment?
                   
                  If George W. Bush had mis-spelled the word "advice" would you have hammered him for it for years like Dan Quayle and potatoe as proof of what a dunce he is? 
                   
                  If George W. Bush had burned 9,000 gallons of jet fuel to go plant a single tree on Earth Day, would you have concluded he's a hypocrite?

                  If George W. Bush's administration had okayed Air Force One flying low  over millions of people followed by a jet fighter in downtown Manhattan causing widespread panic, would you have wondered whether they actually get what happened on 9-11? 
                   
                  If George W. Bush had failed to send relief aid to flood victims throughout the Midwest with more people killed or made homeless than in New Orleans , would you want it made into a major ongoing political issue with claims of racism and incompetence?
                   
                  If George W. Bush had created the position of 32 Czars who report directly to him, bypassing the House and Senate on much of what is happening in America , would you have approved.
                   
                  If George W. Bush had ordered the firing of the CEO of a major corporation, even though he had no constitutional authority to do so, would you have approved?
                   
                  If George W Bush had proposed to double the national debt, which had taken more than two centuries to accumulate, in one year, would you have approved?
                   
                  If George W. Bush had then proposed to double the debt again within 10 years, would you have approved?


                  So, tell me again, what is it about Obama that makes him so brilliant and impressive? Can't think of anything? Don't worry. He's done all this in 11 months -- so you'll have three years and seven months to come up with an answer.

I have waited until now to answer. I was hoping for someone on here to dispute any of the things on your list. However instead of attempting to defend their great one, they have once again decided to pick on Bush. I believe the point of the question was to point out how the media never reflects Obama in a negative light. As well as to point out some of the poor decisions made within the first 11 months of his presidency, and how he can seem to do no wrong. You can clearly feel the hatred in some of these responses. Directed at you for asking such a questions, and toward Bush. They hate Bush and love Obama. It must be blind love, for if they truly opened their eyes to what is going on, they would see him for what he really is. But then that would force them admit they were wrong, and we all know how dems can never admit that. For your next question, I would love to see a list of all the broken campaign promises Obama has made so far. This list was awesome I learned a couple of new things even. I wish your list could reach a larger audience than just the good folks of yahoo answers.

1) George Bush used a teleprompter, so did Clinton, so did Reagan, do every other modern president. If you think Obama is an idiot for using one, then so is every other president for doing the same.

2) I have no idea what this is referring to, but it has nothing to do with intelligence, but Obama can spend all the money he earned however he likes, at least he earned his money instead of inheriting it like his predecessor.

3) It is the type of joke people make all the time. If Bush made a joke at the expense of the soldiers he sent to look for fictional WMD's, would you have laughed?

Heck no ... he unified the religious right and got elected despite lacking the political savvy to prevent the economic turmoil. Republican voters are the idiots. They likea this abuse.
By the way, your list was way too full of flaws for me to even begin to address them let alone read them all.
Obama is a political imposter in Bush clothing. Reps aren't even smart enough to recognize he just picked up where Bush left off. You should LOVE this guy.
Why am I expected to balance my budget but gov doesn't have to? Let's see ... if I over extend my financial boundries what do I do? ... I got it! ... I'll SPEND my way to security!
The saddest part is how many rep voters are too stubborn to admit they voted for the wrong guy in your Rhode Scholar bush. There's no way to justify how he signed every spending bill to cross his desk and pave the road to financial perdition we are on.

Oh cut it out!   GW and his puppeteer Cheney brought this great nation to the very BRINK of RUIN!  They bankrupted this nation and deregulated us into a GLOBAL recession the likes of which has not been experienced since the GREAT DEPRESSION that began in 1929 and lasted almost 9 long years! In typical bigot-Beckian undereducated fashion, you misrepresent and take out of context and distort while conveniently ignoring the atrocities and war crimes and unconstitutional behaviors of the undereducated war criminal bratboy with a czar complex who was the predecessor!  Aiding and abetting the takeover of our government by cult-evangelists determined to overthrow democracy from within (Goldberg, 2006). Taking seven long minutes to read "My Pet Goat" to gradeschoolers after being told by Secret Service "The United States is under attack" not after the FIRST plane hit but after the SECOND one did...this is what you defend???  Taking SEVEN DAYS to respond to Hurricane Katrina simply because the people were poor, black, or Democrats makes Bush liable for every single death that occurred due to his negligence, and THIS you defend???  Taking more "vacations" (dry-out times more likely) than any president in history---this is your idea of "good' leadership???  Having his OWN BROTHER MARVIN BUSH be a PRINCIPLE in SECURACOM--the company that provided "security" to United Airlines (two attack planes were united, Dulles International Airport where two attack planes took off, and the World Trade Center on 9/11 makes you somehow believe that Bratboy Bush DESERVES TO BE CALLED COMPETENT???  He and his cabinet (including Condoleeza Rice) had TWO (count them, TWO) WRITTEN WARNINGS that "foreign pilots are being trained" in addition to having a brother involved in the security and a maternal uncle and cousin (Wirt Walker and Wirt Walker II) on the board of the re-insurer for the WTC---and still this idiot could not (or CHOSE NOT TO) prevent the attacks---he did, afterall need a phony excuse to invade Iraq (which his own Treasury Secretary Paul O'Neill admits they were planning only ten days into the administration taking office and LONG before 9/11---so maybe your little bratboy Bush decided thousands of lives were expendable so long as he got to play criminal cowboy with Iraq!  Now we find out that there were black ops prisons in violation of international law, and what about the TORTURE of detainees, many of whom had not broken the law???   Twit.

The idiot president?  We were safer under the former president than our dear elected one. Bush would never have been so DARNED STUPID to have closed Gitmo to have these pieces of **** in New York City awaiting trial AND being given equal RIGHTS of every American!
