What is the best brand of shampoo and conditioner for thick, coarse, wavy hair?

I've tried Pantene, and am currently using Treseme. Both don't work well on my hair. Any brand reccomendations?

Try Aussie. I have the same type of hair and it tends to work for me. You could also try to massage your hair with some warm olive oil and let it soak in for about 30 minutes. Then wash it as you normally would. It keeps your hair moist and it says a bit more manage-able. I prefer the Aussie Cleanse and Mend. I tend to have oilier hair towards my scalp and it becomes dry towards my ends. Nexxus also works I get the moisture infusion type. But my favorite of all time would have to be Phyto which you can get at Sephora. I'd suggest you try the trial pack which comes with a shampoo conditioner and after wash cream ($12) for the trial pack. Hope this helps.

I love Dove, which is a drugstore brand, and Biolage for a salon brand. You should deep condition your hair once a week, to maintain softness and shine, and combat frizz. Also, applying a shine serum works to get rid of frizz and adds tons of shine!

    Pureology!

    I've been using it forever.

I use the hydrate Shampoo and Conditioner.

    It's expensive though!
