Can we use 4 controllers on 1 XBox 360?
For instance, of the Tiger Golf game, can a friend bring his 2 controllers and 4 people play without having to pass the controllers back and forth?

Yes you can. You just have to sync the other 2 controllers with your Xbox.

You can have up to 4 controllers connected to the same console. But not all games support 4 players on the same console. For example, you can play Halo 3 co-op with 4 peopel over xbox live, but only with 2 people on the same console. I don't know what Tiger Golf's capabilities are.

Yes you can
When you do use 4, the whole XBOX Power Light will be lit up and different sections of the controllers' quadrants will be lit

Search RROD, or Red Rings of Death on google. You will find a lot of answers, as this is a very common problem in older 360's.

Yes you can, but at least 2 of the controllers have to be wireless;)

Yeah actually you can and when me and my friends play halo3, 1 person brings 2 controllers, and we alredy have 2 controllers and one person plays over live.
