Units clerks are essential to a well-run nursing unit; however, it's a hard job! This is NOT an understatement! If you're willing to work hard dealing with all levels of medical personnel, taking the fallout from everyone and not losing your cool, you might enjoy the work. On a positive note, a unit clerk will see firsthand what professional medical staff actually do at their jobs.
