  • Is it possible to use a tankless hot water heater with a hot tub?

The heater in our hot tub is not working. We would like to put in a natural gas dedicated hot water heater and wonder if a "tankless" model would work by just recycling the water? It would be a lot cheaper than buying a new hot tub heater. Plumbing not a problem...just don't know if this would work. Thanks in advance.

  • What to expect from your gov't after a disaster!?

So you've had a disaster in your hometown and you're expecting help from the gov't because you're a US citizen and you pay taxes, right? Read this article about New Orleans 2 years (8/29/2005) after Katrina. And please note that this doesn't even cover the events on the MS Gulf Coast where whole towns (like Waveland and Bay St. Louis, Pass Christian) were completely wiped out! There is NOTHING...it's just sad, sad, sad. Please read and pass it on. It might be you one of these days. Godloveya.

  • I want to sell my gemstone jewelry and I'm stumped for a name to put on my business cards. Any ideas?

Please don't waste your time sending nasty names. I'm serious and I really need a good name for my little craft business. My jewelry is beautiful and all semi-precious gemstones and my name is Bobbye. I'm a redhead, if that makes any difference. As you can see my name here is SassyOldBroad, so maybe you can go from there and suggest something. Thanks for reading this. Appreciate any and all answers. Godloveya.

  • Tired of hearing about "Poor New Orleans"!! What about the Miss. Gulf Coast and Katrina???

I'm venting!!! Most people don't know that Hurricane Katrina's eye hit the gulf coast of Mississippi (Waveland, Bay St. Louis, Pass Christian). The whole coast was wiped out! Have someone drop you off on a deserted sand beach with nothing in site and only your car keys; that's the MS gulf coast. This was a storm that literally sucked the water out of the bay and gulf sound, then threw it back in on 5, 40 foot waves; along with all of the debris.

New Orleans was not the prime site for the Hurricane. The Corp. of Engineers did not build the levees high enough and the City of N.O. didn't use the money appointed to keep the tax payers safe. Had they done their civic duty and the levees held, there would have been no damage.

The good people of the Mississippi Gulf Coast haven't done all of the crying and moaning as the City of N.O. and I suppose the "squeaky wheel gets the grease". There is another saying, "the squeaky wheel gets replaced".... God love us all. AMEN

  • Does anyone else love "Dexter"...!!! Hey, this guy is creepy!!?

This is one of the most original series I've ever seen and can't wait until the next week to see what good old Dexter is up to. If you love Dexter like I do, there is a great movie called "Suspect Zero" that is along the same lines you would enjoy. Just checking to see if anyone else loves the serial killer/aka Blood Spatter Specialist as much as I do. Godloveya all!

  • What were you doing Aug. 29th 2005?? I was floating in Salt Water from Hurricane Katrina in Waveland, MS.?

It's been a year. Tomorrow morning at 9:00AM my husband were floating on an ice chest during Hurricane Katrina! I'm so thankful we're still alive. Waveland, MS is gone (all you hear about is New Orleans) and it's so sad. We're still dealing with this tragedy. I honestly can say we'll never forget this even as long as we live. God bless everyone!

  • I met Hendrix in 1965 - Which "Ancient Rock Stars" did you meet?

Yea, I know this is "old old school" and not really looking for an answer. However, I'm "sharing": I was in the position to meet alot of rock groups in the '60's in New Orleans at Tulane Stadium (ain't there no-mo). I was too shy (and stupid) to ask for autographs....wish that was a do-over! So...I met Jimmy Hendrix, The Cream, Sly & the Family Stone, The Animals, Moody blues, The Turtles, and a few more that I don't remember. Very cool to be asked to party with these ancients, eh? Thanks for letting me walk through memory lane!

  • Presidential Candidate from Louisisna - Cheap Gas for Americans! check it out!?

Just wanted you folks to check this guy out. He's a truck driver from Ponchatoula, Louisiana and he is "for real". He is running for President in 2008 on a platform that Americans need cheap fuel. He has it all lined out on how to get it. He knows he's not going to win, but he wants to be the voice of the average being screwed at the fuel pump on a daily basis! You have to say the guy has some guts!

A quote from Jeff (Petro): "I'm hearing about gas prices in South America at $0.20/gallon and in Kuwait at $0.14/gallon. Why don't we just hire tankers to go and fill up at their stations and bring it over here. I know it won't cost more than $0.50 to transport it so we'll be at the $1.25/gallon now." Please pass this on to all of your friends! Get the word out!

  • NEOSPORIN is not "GOOD" for EVERYTHING!?

Neosporin is making a fortune with ad campaigns because people put the stuff on every little cut they get!! Come on; it's an antibiotic ointment and can make skin alot worse if it is not infected!!! You only use it for an INFECTION!! Please stop telling folks to use it on every little nick that they get; or scars. PLEASE! It can kill healthy skin cells if there is no infection. So can peroxide & alcohol - these are only used for 'dirty' wounds. Soap and water; and a dry bandage changed daily is the proper protocol for 90% of all minor cuts and wounds. Please stop giving Neosporin/tripple-antiobiotic ointments money by recommending it for everything! Thank you.

  • Would anyone consider a Sunday or weekend boycott on buying gasoline? How would you do it?

I think boycotting (not buying a product or participating)gas pumps would send a clear message to our government that we are tired of paying high gas prices and we MEAN IT! We would have to sacrifice a weekend and stay home, or buy your gas during the week. What are your thoughts on this?
