Presidential Candidate from Louisiana running on Cheap Gas Platform! Check it out!?

Just wanted you folks to check this guy out. He's a truck driver from Ponchatoula, Louisiana and he is "for real". He is running for President in 2008 on a platform that Americans need cheap fuel. He has it all lined out on how to get it. He knows he's not going to win, but he wants to be the voice of the average being screwed at the fuel pump on a daily basis! You have to say the guy has some guts!

A quote from Jeff (Petro): "I'm hearing about gas prices in South America at $0.20/gallon and in Kuwait at $0.14/gallon. Why don't we just hire tankers to go and fill up at their stations and bring it over here. I know it won't cost more than $0.50 to transport it so we'll be at the $1.25/gallon now." Please pass this on to all of your friends! Get the word out!

Lol I don't think that one would ever happen though...

There are different factors about prices of gas. The first one is basically what's called Peak Oil. Peak Oil is when the oil production reaches the peak and starts to lose production on barrels per day. After Peak Oil (Most scientists believe is going to be 2010 at the LATEST) the production of oil is going to fall at %2 to 3% per year every year until we run out of oil. The simple fact is, we don't know how much oil is left. They believe that oil has nearly run it's course and will be gone in the next 30 to 40 years, forever. All the while, the oil demand is going to sky rocket with countries such as China developing, they will consume more oil than the United States does in a few years from now.

I do love hearing about a candidate running for the people but the simple problem with this situation is that regardless of him wanting and working for oil prices to go down... they never will again.

In the next two years, many analyists agree that the price of oil will hover just under $200 per gallon.... that's around $5.00 per GALLON! That's scarey...

I wish him good luck in his race though, I'm sure he'll need it.

it is the dumbest aspect i have ever heard of. the authorities can't rigidity the oil marketplace to decrease its expenditures. it fairly is the full theory of our society. it is termed call for. when we call for something, the fee of that merchandise is going up, therefore increasing the fee. in case you want to stay in a society the position the authorities controls organization (and something of your existence) then by all means bypass to Venezuala or Kuwait and observe how tremendous something of your existence is.
