Does Mark Sanchez think Pete Carroll is making a mistake by going PRO?
"We don't see this decision the same. ... PETE is going against the grain on this decision. He knows that. He knows that coming out early is a tremendous challenge for a COACH. And the statistics don't back up that it's easy to be successful the way he's going about it. We know that, he knows that. ... I don't agree with the assessment of the decision." - Mark Sanchez

Uh...Well, half of what you say is crap, but...IF he said that, you realize he was mocking Pete Carroll for what Carroll told him when HE decided to leave early...right?

it was just a joke. he was referencing comments Carroll made about Sanchez' decision to turn pro after only one year as a stater at USC. Pete Carroll has four years experience as a head coach in the NFL. One year for the New York Jets in '94 and three years prior to taking the USC job in 2000 with the New England Patriots (I think, it may have been 2 years).

Plus, Carroll isn't fast enough to be a first round pick. He runs a 103.9 40-yard Dash. Also, he can benchpress about 113 pounds. And he's about as tall as Alf. But there's a bright side to that.... He won't be drafted by the Raiders.
Wait, you mean he's going to COACH in the Pros....
That is a bad move also.

Sanchez was referring to comments made by Carroll when Sanchez left USC early to enter the NFL draft. He was making a joke.

Of course he does, Pete Carroll is running from suspension.

he probably doesn't like it because when the Jets play the Seahawks, the Seahawks will have an advantage because Carroll knows his tendancies as a QB.
Joe Pa is probably right though

considering they have been paid a pro salary for the past few years its a mistake to take a step down and rebuild a program for more pay
