What are the warmest states in the U.S.A?
I'm a Junior in High school and I am looking for colleges to apply to.
To start off, I want to attend a college in a state that does not get too cold in the winter. So what are the warmest states in the U.S.A?

Come down to Old Miss right on the Gulf coast. With lovely beaches to relax on and shady old oaks.

The answer is that the most southerly states get more solar irradiation and so are generally hotter. Don't forget Hawaii. It is buffered by the surrounding tropical ocean and so is protected against both low and high temperature extremes. I went to UH Manoa, it was great!

Hawaii or Arizona.
In the past week, every other states was somewhere in the 40's or below, but in Arizona, it was in the upper 60's and Hawaii is the southernmost state, so it is also warm there.
