Why there is only one person in a big car on the very small road of Delhi city?

Welcome to The World. You have become disappointed because you have ignored greed, egotism, willful self-centeredness, the sense of Privileged Entitlement, foolishness, lack of consideration for the needs or even basic rights of others, anger, and Everything Else That Defiles Your Moral Values.

The automobile is, especially to those people who have never owned one before, a suit of invulnerable mobile armor. They feel that they are now free to take out their frustrations and their petty jealousies on everyone else because THEY AND THEIR CAR simply weigh more than you do. They have felt like victims all their lives, and now these petty, shrunken spirits are foaming at the mouth to take revenge.

Ugly picture, no? But true, every word of it. Go to Google and enter "road rage"--you will get TENS OF MILLIONS OF ENTRIES, and I do not exaggerate. You will be ashamed to be a member of the same species as these "people." But the reading will improve your English, anyway.

My good friend, this deplorable situation can only become worse. I drove professionally for many years--everything from limousines, buses, tractor-trailer rigs, and 6-ton forklifts, to bulldozers, back hoes, and 30-meter-long mobile cranes. In general, the part that fails first is always The Idiot Behind the Wheel.

I am not sure whether this tree huger is misinformed or not, but I am sure, he has raised a valid point.

We do not have adequate, commuter friendly public transport system. You will not get seat in bus or train. Then there will be no bus or train or if there, it will be insufficient.

From being socialist country, we are moving ahead in becoming capitalist country, more particularly americanised. Where every one is individual, self centered. We are learning to think about what I want, what I have and also learning to forget what is good for every one, nation or world.

Further, to fuel this race is govt. policies. They are reducing subsidies on agriculture produce, which makes them costlier and at the same time to please their aka abroad, they are reducing excise duty on automobiles, making them more and more cheaper. Forcing banks to lend money to purchasers to buy vehicles.

There is lot more but it is out of direct relevance here.

A. public transportation is not as fast or safe as a car B. If i car pool to work and my kid gets sick or something elase how do i get to them take a bus and walk the rest come on C. why should i stop using my car i like my car and yes i have a big truck it's an 86 f250 i love the thing it gets me from a to b and can pull up a couple of stumps on the way why should i give that up cause tree hugger like you are misinformed about climate problems and what really cause's them?

Pretentious people like to have big cars. It makes them feel more important and they don't care if it hurts the environment.
