    1. Asomugha

    2. Revis

    3. Samuel

While Revis is good, he is still not in the same league with Asomugha. Asomugha rarely, if ever, gets tested during the course of a game. No matter who he is covering, QB's are not going to throw his way, the same cannot be said of Revis, who is still tested a number of times every game.

    1. Nnamdi

    2. Revis.

    a big gap

    a even bigger gap

    3. Asante Samuel does not deserve to be here.

There is one reason why Nnamdi Asomugha is better then Revis. Its because Nnamdi does not get tested during the games. He does not get thrown at. Asomugha makes tackles. Asomugha has not gave up a TD all season unless you want to call the monday night game at week 1 a TD for vincent jackson when nnamdi was under the route and the safety blew the coverage in a zone. Well okay count that one.

Revis is really good do not get me wrong but he gets thrown at more in one game then nnamdi does all season. Through week 8 nnamdi got targeted 12. on the other hand. revis was targeted 49 times in that same time frame. Do the math and you would see that revis a "shutdown" corner gets targeted at 4 times more then asomugha.

the thing that gets me mad is that the games shows the recievers who have had 35 yards less on revis. yeah thats all nice, but that has to do more with the scheme then anything. yah held randy moss to less than 35 yards twice. thats nice. but he also had a TD. if you notice Ted Ginn isnt on that list because revis was defending him and got burned for a 60 yard TD.

Asomugha also has more tackles for losses then revis does and diagnoses the play faster then revis does. During the broncos and raiders game week 15 the broncos ran a trick play against the raiders where Ryan Clady there left tackle was used as a WR and right when clady caught the ball he came from his CB position and made the tackle for a loss.

there is alot more reasons but ill give this to revis though, hes younger then nnamdi. and plays for a better team thats why he gets more credit nnamdi is going back to being unknown again because he doesnt get no recongition because he does not get targeted at all. Colts Peyton Manning also said that he is the best cornerback in the NFL by far and thats coming from a HOF.

    You got it right.

Revis and Asomugha are close, but this season Revis has just been on another level. Its not his fault that QBs haven't realized they might as well forget about their #1 receiver like they have with Nnamdi, and previously with Champ Bailey. Soon Revis'll start getting the kind of respect than Nnamdi and Champ get.

Asante might be the best playmaking corner in the NFL, but he's too all or nothing. He sells out for the pick and big play too often, and while that results in him making a lot of plays, it also hurts him a lot of the time. He's far from a shutdown corner.

lol in basic terms 3 touchdowns and six hundred yards all season....in case you had one million/2 a techniques for soccer you may understand by ability of understand that Asomugha has given up one million TD all season, and im too lazy to do examine for the yards. dont forget that the guy hardly gets thrown to. And the place did u get the thought that qb's thoroughly stay far flung from Revis? one extra factor, Santonio Holmes replaced into no longer coated by ability of Asomugha plenty that gme.

    Your order is good

    1.Darrelle Revis

    2.Nnamdi Asomugha

    3.Asante Samuel

Asante gets burned as often as he makes the pick. Unfortunately the lasting image of him may be the ball sailing through his hands in XLII.

I have to go Asomugha, Revis and then Samuel. Asomugha is the complete corner, he's a great cover guy in man or zone coverage and plays well in run defense. Revis is great in man to man coverage and good in zone as well but sometimes doesn't play the run very well. Samuel is great at getting turnovers, but sometimes get beat in coverage and doesn't always play the run well.

i'd go with that order, although nnamdi is a very close second. i don't know if i'd put samuel third because it tends to have "deion sanders syndrome" wherein he goes for the interception too much and less for the pass defense. when he goes for the interception, he often misses easy ones.

for anybody that says that his missed picks don't matter, just ask tom brady and the new england pats, as his missed interception ultimately cost them a super bowl title.

    I'd stay with 1, but switch 2 and 3.
