Is getting paid for online surveys a scam?

I have joined few survey sites after reading a review about them, which pay me around $200-$400 per month as they send surveys for $25-$75 per survey And are free to join. In real I have recieved $75 survey only once but $55- $65 have been many times. They send me surveys for $2-$10 also but I only take them if they are not long enough I don't like filling survey forms for cents so I only take surveys that pay me according to my time. Make sure you don't land up in a scam where you need to pay for paid surveys. Legit sites never ask for joining fee as they want real interested people not customers. All sites I have joined are free to join and pay well specially in this time when each and every company wants to know what consumer thinks.

Most survey sites are scams. If there is a fee or you have to sign up for any services/products, it is a SCAM.

There are a few legit sites but they pay very little. I made $10 off of one after about 6 months. Another one credits me about $50 a year but I can not get cash. I choose to get airline miles so that $50 usually amounts to about $5 in "real" money.

I think like everything online it can get a bad rap, for every legit Market research company ten scam sites pop up. Theres a good top 10 survey site online called findmysurveys. I would look at them before you sign up with a "scam"

Lots are scams, you need proof of payment first.

I once got paid by Cashcrate, although only $28 :S (it was a check so I can't give you proof to reassure you).
