How do I get rid of brown algae in my saltwater tank?

I've reduced the feeding and lowered the phosphoras and nitrate.I change the water every 25 days and I use either distilled water or water from a tap water filter. My tank has been up and running for 2 years and my problem started 3 months ago

Not a brown algae at all, but what are called diatoms, these organisms need what all marine alga require to survive: light and food. The cure for this type of problem algae is the same as the prevention: Starve it into oblivion.
