Why isn't the media up Al Gores butt about this weather?

Because reporting that "An Incovenient Truth" is actually a lie isn't convenient for the state-run media we have in the USA.

You don't seem to be educated on global warming. Global warming means hotter summers and colder winters. Short-term weather doesn't change how the Earth's climate over the LONG TERM will behave. So, just b/c we are experiencing cold weather around many parts of the world now global warming is gone? Don't confuse weather w/ climate.

It's cold because of the cold fresh water from the melting polar ice caps. This causes the ocean, say around Atlantic, etc. to cool and stops warm water from the Caribbean, that gives us our warm temperatures, from flowing east/west in the Atlantic which is known at the Atlantic heat conveyor.

My way of explaining it may be confusing, but a meteorologist or scientist could explain in much better. Still, get the picture? Our planet's temperature is rising, and it will drastically affect how we live in another 20 years, 50 years, and years after that! Global warming is a natural process, but human activity has accelerated it. All scientists in this world agree global warming is not a myth, they just don't agree on what extent it's happening now. So don't be one of the ignorant fools who think it's some left-wing hoax.

Al Gore give us back our weather!

You're kidding, right? Oh, wait ... maybe you're watching or listening to a news service that loves algore. I've heard lots of news about this being such a cold winter and how it debunks his theories. Even some of the late night comedians are joking about it.

Yes, I realize the irony of saying "global warming" while it's snowing in Florida, but in reality "global warming" is about man-made shifts in global weather patterns, not just warming trends.

And even while Floridians dig out from freak snow storms, the arctic is still melting, and increased amounts of carbon dioxide are slowly but surely destroying the coral reefs.

I have to echo another:

You Must be Kidding!! THe media "gave" him an Oscar for that lame-false "movie" of his. You think they'd want to 'anger' his diciples and other 'celebrity gangs' who believe him/them?

His heads in the way.
